> 3 Easy Steps > Removing Stains
Visible stains should be completely removed prior to beginning the in-dryer process. The Dryel® Stain Remover works to help loosen and remove the stain via the action of the bottle tip, solution and absorbent pad.
1. Check for colorfastness. Some fabrics do not have colorfast dyes. Before you begin stain removal, check for colorfastness using the following steps:
a. Moisten a folded white paper towel with several drops of the Dryel Stain Remover. b. Press against a hidden area of the garment.
c. If any dye is absorbed onto the paper towel, do not use Dryel Stain Remover for spot cleaning that garment.
2. Place absorbent pad under stained area.
3. Use bottle tip and pressure, as you would an eraser on a pencil, to "erase" the stain, while applying solution. To help prevent the stain from spreading, first draw a ring around the stain with the Dryel Stain Remover.
4. As the pad absorbs the stain, move to expose a clean area of the pad.
a. Continue to apply solution as needed until the stain is completely removed.
b. Discard pad when finished.
c. Begin the in-dryer process.
